Right, ive got a 2.0 zetec black top from a mondeo, all up and running etc, but have a squeeking noise like a belt is slipping.
ive tensioned up the alternator belt tight enough but not too tight, this is not slipping.
so the only other belt on the engine is the cambelt.
as the engine runs the orange tensioner bounces up and down (its the spring loaded tensioner i think) and the engine squeeks to the same frequency the tensioner bounces.
could it be this or is there anything else that could be causing the squeek, i have no air con etc?
