Default Which are the best brakes to get?

I have rear drums on my RST S2 which im happy with... but which brakes would you recommend for my S2 at the front???

I have RS 7 Soft Spokes on at the mo and have some Focus St170 Front Brakes...

But would like to go back to the RS turbo 15" alloy wheels.

Just want a complete new set and wondered which are the best? I will be having red calipers.... and have my drums sprayed red at the back.

AP's are the ultimate but probably OTT for road use plus there isn't an off the shelf kit for the s2. It also depends on what power you have and what you are going to use it for e.g. track. Also if you're wheels are anything like my RS 7 Diamond cuts they don't offer brilliant clearance due to their design, so thats something else to consider. A common, cheapish option is to use cosworth 4x4 calipers and 2wd discs or you could use the 2wd calipers which are 4 pots but need machining slightly so the disc sits central

Im going back to standard RST alloys, and im thinking about Cossie discs and calipers...

Anyone got a link to where i can get them from at the best price?

My car is at about 170bhp according to MSD - need a good intercooler.

Sounds like a cossie setup will be your best bet then mate as they will just fit behind standard wheels. Calipers sell for roughly £50-£100 in good working order

so get the cossie 4x4 calipers and pads and the 2wd discs and it will be a straight swap?
