Replacement Gearbox for ST200?
Hi, I'm thinking of replacing the gearbox in my ST200 as it's done 104k and starting to feel a little tired and notchy....
Firstly, I intend to fit a new clutch while I'm at it. Is the ST200 any different from the other 2.5v6 models in the range (ST24, Ghia X etc etc)?
By that I mean will any 'box/clutch from a V6 fit?
Secondly, where can I get a decent 'box from that won't cost the earth (i.e. FoMoCo!) I have found a clutch for about £150 (reasonable?)
I'm based in Berkshire if that helps...
I know it's long winded but you guys have been fantastic for me so far and this time i'm really stuck!
Any help at all would be much appreciated..
Lee.

The 220 six speed is not a straight swap as it uses a diffrent size input shaft.
Whilst any of the boxes from the V6's will fit they are not the same as the 200 uses diffrent 5th gear ratios to make the most out of the car.
