is there anything major ill need to change other than the fuel tank??
also what to do with wiring the RS loom to the van??
any help would be much appreciated!! thanks!!

I have escort van diesel too. Sory mate but that is all power you can ever had from that engine 1.8 diesel is 44 KW, or 1,8 TD is 65 KW. It isnt made for race, or fast sprints, but is very economical, and saving a lot of fuel comparing with RS. + gerabox of vans is a little modificated (comparing with normal cars) so he can moove easy a lot of weight.

For the full conversion your looking at:
Engine
ECU
Radiator & fan
Intercooler
Turbo unit
Wiring Loom, engine or full
Plenuim chamber
Boost hoses
Water Hoses
Exhaust
Air/Fuel Metering unit
Fuel Tank
Fuel Pump
Fuel Accumulator
Fuel Lines
I have most of these parts on the shelf but its a costly way to do it. Youd be better picking up a breaker ERST.
If you need the parts you know where i am! I would also reccomend changing the gearbox to a LSD one, which i also have handy![Wink](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
I done a full cabrio conversion and this was the minimum of parts i used.

thanks for the input people much appreciated, luckily enough i have a complete RS turbo to use for parts so swapping parts needed wont be a problem, as for wiring the RS loom into the van, anyone know what is required for that side of things??
