Default Smoke signs....

This morning on the way to work, when i spun the turbo on my cossie up for the 1st time after warming the car up for about 5 miles... there was a mish mash of smoke/smog... no real colour definition a bit of grey/blackish maybe smal hint of blue... Doesnt do it again, only 1st time the turbo is spun up...

I have noticed this before but not for a while!! Is it normal - just clearing the system.... It is not smoking when i rev it when i get to work!!??

Any ideas??

Cheers

I have the same problem. I think its the oil stem seals on the turbo (leak when left overnight)

I had the same prob before, but it disappeared when i swapped the turbo for another one (pity it appears to b headin the same way)

this is nothing to worry about really, it is the turbo oil seal , as above, weeping through slightly when switched off and its not until u give her a bag full of boost that it 'clears her throat', as long as it is only once and it is not putheing out when on boost once hot.
