ofab/cossie merelli map sensor faulty?
I have just built a new Zetec turbo engine running ofab and been having a few problams not ticking over / not reving that well and in general being shite.
I unplugged the map sensor and it idles perfectly runs a dream.
Does this sound like a faulty map sensor .
Can anyone tell me what voltage/values each pin on the map sensor plug should have just so i can check they are correct.
My autodata isnt working.

not yet . i have a 195 chip to run the beige injectors on its way just till i can take it to get setup with new chip and bigger injectors.
Just seems funny why it runs/idles perfect with map sensor unplugged.
I have also changed the engine loom over from ofac to ofab thats why i need to check the pin values to make sure everything is ok.

You can't expect it to run anywhere near right when it's running the complete wrong calibration for the engine. No offence but from what i've read you do tend to dick around like this a lot and you're pissing in the wind.
The reason it 'runs better' when you unplug the MAP sensor is because, by a pure stroke of luck, the ECU has gone into a safe map that just so happens to have enough fuel for your engine to idle right. It is NOT by any stretch of the imagination 'right'.
What you should do, if you don't wish to wipe your engine out, is obtain a suitable chip+injectors from a good tuner to run the engine in etc. and then go and get it mapped at your preferred tuner (of which there are only a couple who do OFAB anyway)..
