Hi all,
Did the 2.0l zetec silvertop mondeo come with a mtx75 gearbox? also what other cars come with those gearboxes.

 

Yeah all mondies apart fom the 6 speeders and the autos came with the MTX75 boxes.

Other cars with the MTX75 are:

Mk5/6 Escort RS2000/130 ps XR3i/turbo diesel,
Cougar,
Transit connect,
Focus RS(with Quaife ATB diff)/2 litre (except ST170)/turbo diesel.

 

what are the difference in gear ratio between mtx75 5 speed and st170 6 speed gear box's?
