just wondered if a t34 with 360 degree kit and 0.63 exhaust housing would be big enough to coupe with 30psi for 500bhp

 

Not a hope in hell,will just scrape 400 bhp.

 

thanks mate as suspected the reason i ask is because i currently have a t61 on the car and i am getting turbo surge. i have tried taking some ignition timing away and it has made no difference any ideas anyone?

 

Yeah, make the head flow better.

Is it a proper T61, or some t3/t61 hybrid crap?

 

Check you have suffecient fuel at the surge speed.

Thanks i have checked i have sufficient fuel it is lambda .80 at the point of surge and the head is ported to 25mm inlet and 24mm exhaust. I have noticed that the 500 style cooler has 62mm connections but the turbo and throttle body are 72mm. i am wondering if this may be causing a restriction?
