Lightbulb what will i need ...(S2)

right im swoping bottom ends next weekend and i want to be properd..i have already....


head gasket
non strech head bolts
anti freeze
rocker cover gasket
oil
oil filter
fuel filter
fuel ...lol
water punp gasket.........ummmmmm
fly wheel bolts..

ok i think thats all iv got ....now will i need gearbox oil ...if so how much..what about gearbox gaskets ?????????..ummmm cant think arrrh.....if you can think of any thing iv missed please tell me..i want it to go as smooth as possible....thanks guys

info on your new bottom end could help, has it got a sump, water pump, oil pump etc on?

it has a s1 water pump on it..so got change the for the one on my engine,,,all the sumps intact on there....wheres the oil pump?

oh yer got a genuine ford cam belt....u think i should change the tensioner awell?

id personally change the tensioner too, from what i remember the oil pump is below the water pump? (been a while since ive touched one)

well theres nothing missing on the block.apart from the engine monts...well looks like engine mount...cool tenshioner is 25 or sumit from burton..ill do that...just to be sure

puting it in ...then im guna give all the gimps round bournemouth..in there corsa's saxo'x a pasting..and hopefully give the evo's a run for there money lol..my m8 has a sick skyline so go round a wip every one lol well try

good to here your keeping the 1.9 as in my opinion they are the best mod forget the 2.1 zvh and all that (although im running one lol)

do you no how much power the average 1.9 turbo makes on the rollers...i hope more than 200bhp without being unsafe..if not im going to be disapointed..but its not going to be a crazy build..just average..im lookin for 250bhp with torque to match

when i had mine i ran 230bhp @10psi and the compression was down 2bar in the one cylinder (bought it like it. i didn't know what the problem was till i stripped it down. melted piston). i was running a stage 3 head, cam ect. but i would get a fifth injector if to want to run more, it will be capable of 250 quite easy with intercooler and stuff. i have a fifth injector controller lying about somewhere ill check it still works if your interested.

nope still havent found one....i dont want to rent one from a company ...would prefer to buy one...went and had a look about today but couldnt find one....maybe im lookin in the wrong places

Machine mart, you will get a perfectly good crane for £150, maybe even a collapseable one if my memory serves me correctly.
