took my frst out this morning after a couple of weeks of standing let it get warm etc then opened it up anyway basically ot smoked some smoke thru the dv and thru the little breather??

now the car nevers smokes from cold on boost or anything and it only did it this one time....

any ideas as to what it can be???

 

take your inlet pipes of from intercooler and i bet theres oil in there, it mite have been the oil getting hot inside.

 

yeah i did do there was a really tiny bit in there as in virtually nothing...


only thing i can think of is coz the fan is on a switch (it wasnt turned on at the time) temp went above the "o" were it normally runs so i am guessing it is coz it got hot??

would that make sense?? also didnt have heater turned on in car??

dont know what temp a 1.8 zetec t3 fiesta rs turbo should run at anyway???

 

As said could of been a bit of standing oil that got hot in inlet pipe, wouldn't worry unless it keeps happening.

As for temps anything over the N is a prob.

yeah probably just a bit of oil?? it did get on the n but that is because the fan wasnt on it went straight back down as soon as the fan come on though
