Default Clifford Alarm, Help!!

I currently have a Clifford Concept 600 alarm fitted to my Cosworth. A few months ago I had a problem where the alarm kept going off. I traced this to the tilt sensor which had got wet due to a water leak into the front passenger footwell.

Because of the water leak the tilt sensor wiring plug had corroded so I cut this off and soldered the wires back together. When I plugged my cliffnet wizzard back into the alarm the diagnostics page said the tilt sensor was inactive.

My question is does this mean the sensor needs to be replaced or does it mean it's inactive as in the car is not been jacked up or tilted?

The reason I ask is because the diagnostics page also says the valet switch is inactive but I know this works.

Is there anyway to run a test on the tilt sensor using the cliffnet wizzard software?

This means its not active as in hasn't sensed anything.
Im guessing ur looking at the In/Out screen?
If you tilt the sensor whilst in this screen you will see it change to ACTIVATED. confiming the sensor is working..
Hope this helped/explained it.

P.S. I hope you got that water leak fixed!

Thanks for the response, fixed the water leak at the weekend so hopefully I shouldn't get anymore wet carpet.

I checked the tilt sensor was working at the weekend by arming the system and then jacking up the rear of the car. As soon as the car was slightly raised the alarm sounded so looks like the sensor survived the water leak.
