I currently have a Clifford Concept 600 alarm fitted to my Cosworth. A few months ago I had a problem where the alarm kept going off. I traced this to the tilt sensor which had got wet due to a water leak into the front passenger footwell.

Because of the water leak the tilt sensor wiring plug had corroded so I cut this off and soldered the wires back together. When I plugged my cliffnet wizzard back into the alarm the diagnostics page said the tilt sensor was inactive.

My question is does this mean the sensor needs to be replaced or does it mean it's inactive as in the car is not been jacked up or tilted?

The reason I ask is because the diagnostics page also says the valet switch is inactive but I know this works.

Is there anyway to run a test on the tilt sensor using the cliffnet wizzard software?
