Default s1 prob :-)

had my series 1 tuned and rolling roaded today, the guy couldnt do it because it misses badly when warm? so far i have changed:
plugs
leads
dizzy
rotary arm
and ignition coil.
i still have the problem, and was just wondering if any1 else has had this prob before it costs an absolute fortune finding this fault when could be simple???? thanks

poss the green coil wires arking out on the intercooler mine started to do that was a right pain to find as it was only doing it every know and again

If i was having a Ł1 bet, i would say.

"Unplug the amal valve mate, its shorting the ecu out."

I dont mate, yours is a good suggestion. The green wire can inded cause a miss when it shorts to earth intermittently, although its normally more of a total cut dead.

true my one made all my gauges start flashing every now and again under a little right foot it would pop and hold back then some times it will be fine for a week or so

just a though mate, i had probs with mine when warm and it turned out it was over fueling like a mother f*cker.due to the coolant temp sensor..its wortha try,there not expensive and can cause nasty probs....you'v changed alll the usual suspects..give it a try...it under the inlet manifold

Even the worst tuner would have checked for overfuellng,so cant be that.

true mate ,but its a two min check with a multi meter on the sensor, it caused me a bit of a headache, just a thought pal.hope you sort it
