can i ditch dump valve

Question can i ditch dump valve

just brought a 93 4x4 saph cossie its only running 251 bhp but hope to up it to the high 300s problem is im ordering some new samco hoses but dont want a dump valve take off does not having a dump valve damage it in any way as i have heard so many stories any help would be great

High 300s will mean a different turbo I should think, so make sure you order hoses to fit the new turbo you are fitting not the piddly little t3 if its still standard turbo at the moment.

dont need it with that spec; i run a 360bhp 2wd cossie without a dump valve; i just have a cone filter for the chatter (although i am getting a bit bord of the noise)

if your hoping for over 330bhp order the hoses to fit a t34, t3 wont make over 320-330bhp

i would personally run a dump valve if you don't want the noise then use a recirculating one.
