i have 2 rebuild the whole engine on my series2 and want 2 replace the turbo unit cause i dont no its history (elimanating future falure)and mainly engine damage but turbo technics want so much 4 there blower do i bite the bullet or keep searchin....where do u lot go 4 your blower..im going 2 be really skint now......p.s. ill put pics up as soon as theres some sun

 

If you dont know that something is definitely wrong with your one why waste money on getting another save it and spend it on the engine. Check for play in the shaft on yours alittle up and down is fine but it should have no in and out play. Mate if theres nothing wrong with the one on there your just wasting money the standard T3 will be good for 180bhp+ but it's upto if you want to put a new one on there but imo you could use the money for something that needs doing.

 

A set of rs17"... 7 spokes wouldnt go a miss

 

You could just refurb yours if you must or get it sent off for a check over and refurb.

 

i was thinkin of sumthin a bit bigger ..in guna run a front cooler and dont want it 2 strugle....this happend on my renault 5 turbo........im going 2 look into a refurb thanks man
