remember the black combi rst that was in fast ford not so long ago?
his intercooler was from a landrover and they dont make a petrol turbo vehicle so i cant see why not. (i think it was the black combi but if its not it was in fast ford no so long ago as i rember reading it and thinking hmmm i could start selling discout intercoolers from work.... (i work for landrover) so i cant see why there would be any difference between the two.

i had a saab 9000 2.3 (petrol) intercooler on a mondeo 1.8TD, it worked fantastic!

if your buying a used diesel intercooler, they do tend to be a bit more oily in their boost pipes so be sure to give it a thorough clean-out before fitting it.

yeah give it a GOOD clean out with lots and lots and lots of brake cleaner!
best thing is to sitcki it in a part washers and leave it in the for a while with the fluid runnign through it then coat in brake cleaner and leave to evaporate

The sure fire way of getting cleanis to fill with caustic soda solution overnight, this is ace for removing carbon and oil and was done all the time on m/bike exhausts when 2 stroke.
