iv fitted an fiesta rs turbo engine with ofab managment in to my mk4 fiesta and got it started for the first time today but it is idling high and it cuts out after a little while and if you try and rev it it just cuts out can anyone help me please also the co2 pot is not fitted as i havent got one yet would this be the cause of my problem.

 

Quite possibly. Running cars with sensors missing yields unexpected results.

 

I have this problem too at the moment. It'll run for a short while when turned on from cold but once it heats up a little and you press the throttle it dies. if you let go of the throttle as its dieing it'll idle again, but if you hold the throttle open it sounds like its ran out of fuel.

I'm not near the car at the moment so havent had a chance to play about with stuff but my suspicions are

TPS
CPS
Fuel pressure regulator
