actuator
hi all
got a question about an actuator on my series 2 rst running mfi , just getting it ready for a rolling road session after being run in and i was under the car replacing the sump plug after renewing filter and oil when i looked up at the actuator and saw it was wound all the way in and had no adjustment left on the rod but the car is only runing low boost well it boosts to 8.5 psi and drops to 7.5 psi and holds there and was hoping to run around 14/15psi after the r/r session
i can lower the boost by lenghening the rod no problem and feels quite strong
it dont look like a standard actuator as it is black and has a f 1 stamp on it and i know this dont meen anythink being black but if its a standard one surely it would boost to 10psi wound all the way in or is it knackered
the car has a superchip in it also and has a hybrid turbo if you need to know.
was going to get a new -31actuator but thought i would ask on here first as you never know might be somethink else i can check first or can the chip be mapped at this for running in, i would like to fit the actuator myself as i see no reason paying the labour charge at the rolling road session for it
any help would be grateful

have you got a bleed valve? if the actuator is wound all the way in i would of thort it wud make way 2 much boost but if the bleed valve is turned down it wud control the boost.or the actuator is well and truly f***ed
i dont have a bleed valve so its looks knackerd then
many thanks
