My girlfriends Fiesta Zetec doesn't start very well when it's warm. Always fires first time from cold but if you try and start it from warm you have to crank it for ages then it splutters into life as though it is flooded with fuel.

Anyone got any idea's what this could be?

 

mine used to be like this OCCASIONALLY. However, once I serviced it, fitted new plugs obviously but also got some nice Ford Motorsport HT leads it was fine after that and cranks normally whatever the situation. I also got a second hand coil pack as I feared this was going and the car has been spot on, no popping/juddering on idle and starts instantly every time
