can anyone help me my rst runs fine but on idle a horrible grey fuel smelling smoke appears and it starts blowing smoke rings???

horrible grey smoke would lead me to believe incomplete combustion. and its only on idle? have you had mates following you to tell you what it does on load and on/off boost?

p.s. this is proper greyish/black smoke right, not just clearish smoke that fords make on idle?

nothing on the road purly a problem on idle when at running temp

hmm. not very experienced on this sort of thing but can check simple things like spark plugs if they are fouled. it could be a problem either with ignition or fuelling but I would hazard a shot more at the ignition side. Someone else I'm sure would be of better help then I am.

Is it light grey or dark grey/black smoke?? If it's light grey have you tryed changing the valve stem seals??
