Hi newbie here only just found out about the foroum through a friend!!!!

Anyway I'm just about to stick a 2l I4 from a grandad into a mk1 and just wondering if anyone here has already done it, to rape them of ideas :P or just see anmy mistakes i might avoid...

And before the whole zetec better arguement starts engine was free and came along with the Type9 gearbox i wanted and weighs about the same as 16pinto that was going to go in so seemed logical to use it instead....

Sump will need modding, and you'll want to lose the balancer shafts too!

Other then that its quite straint forwardish....
