Starter motor only works when cold

As above, the car fires up fine when cold, but if warmed up the starter won't spin.

Sound like a S2 problem..... I would say It's on It's way out..... could be worth checking all the electrical connections before replacing it...

And try to get it wrapped in something against the heat. I think burton sell it. Cos its real ly close to the exhaust. Same as the electrical bit

Is your starter a realy short one as i've had that problam on a few of my fords and i just fitted a diesel starter . The realy long ones and it starts everytime even after a good canning.
