Default small turbo cos map sensor

what is the max boost input for the map sensor on the small turbo escort cossie its the ford frequency based type is it 14.5 psi like the fiesta OFAC one??

Roughly 1.5 BAR, as it reads up to 1 bar negative(vacuum) so swings the other way to 2.5BAR absolute, meaning 1.5 BAR positive.
These sensors often have a overead capability, sometimes by a lot, but not sure how much with this one.
1 Bar = 14.5038 PSI.

so whats the max psi i can run through my car with the standard sensor is 18 psi ok?
im guessing that there are no upgrades for the frequency based sensors unlike with the webber type?

I think they max out at about 26 psi of boost but your limitation will be what ever ecu you are running.

it will read 1 1/2 bar of boost pressure, as atmosphere is already one bar, this plus the 1.5 bar equals your 2.5 bar?? so theoretically 21.75psi (ish)
