hi guys, new to this forum and in desperate need of help and advice!

i have a 1993 transit executive petrol 2ltr, it seems to be burning oil, also keeps covering spark plugs in oil so it keeps missfiring! is this pistons rings gone??

also if this is took much work for me to repair what replacement engine(s) could i get??

Pinto engine, could be valve stem oil seals.

 

If the plugs are getting covered in oil fix the leak, most likely the rocker cover, DON'T overtighten as this will distort the cover.
As said stem seals go first, but depending on mileage/use/history it could also be rings/bores.

yeh thats wot i mean, the inside end of the plugs!!

if i replaced the engine wld it matter if its a 185 or 205 block?? i dnt know wots in there now?? its a j-reg!!
