lamber sencor cozzie
Can anyone tell me if you need the lamber sencor connected to the exhorst because i have a mongoose exhorst without a cat? If you do is there a way of testing the lamber sencor to see if it is working? The original lamber sencor was connected to the turbo on my escort, i changed the turbo and got a 2 wheel drive turbo, so if i need the lamber sencor i would have to drill a hole in my down pipe. Thanks.

Hi 1st of all is it an esc cos and if so why did ya take the t3/4 turbo off and put a t3 on ? Im suprised that it runs without the lambda sensor.
The ecu will be programed to having the sensor, ya can drill the down pipe and weld a boss in for the sens to screw into, ya can buy the boss cheap.
Good luck steve

20K+ Super Poster.
As it had a lambda the ecu needs one, big time.
Just buy a stainless steel nut 18mmx1.5mm, as this should be the size, and weld/get welded to the exhaust downpipe.

Hi. The only reason that i changed the turbo is because the fins on the fan were broken, and my mate was breaking his cozzie and i bought the turbo off it as his had just been upgreaded and it was only 6 months old. I will have to see where i can buy a now lamber sencor and a nut for the manafold. Thanks for the help.
