Can anybody give me any advice about putting a focus st170 engine and box in a mk 3 fiesta. engine is out ov a GR motorsport class b focus touring car. its currently at HT racing geting throttle bodies and a dry sump set up. any info would b apriciated

 

what do you need to know? if your just on about squeezing it in you will have to modify the engine mount, use 1800 zetec waterpump and oil pump probaly (clearance for oil pump, and so water pump meets pipe, hose will need modding as zetec water pump is i think 42mm and cvh is 32) as for gearbox if your using a bc box it will bolt up to the zetec providing you use a flywheel that works, but you could do with making some cover plates to go between block and box to cover the gaps left. i dont know if the inlet works but im guessing so as a 2.0l focus one is common on 2.0 fiesta conversions.

thnx 4 the help m8. its getin the 6 speeder in with a lsd. its the cable change tht a thnk am guna struggle with. could a jst use the focus selector pot nd cables?
