cozzy head thickness

Default cozzy head thickness

this must have bin asked before but i cant find it does anyone know the standard thickness of a cozzy head and whats the minimum thickness you can run on a turbo engine before you start to run into problems

according to the book, 138.68 mm is the min head thickness. you can remove (skim) 0.13 mm from the head as long as it doesnt go below 138.68. if you go below this then compression ratios become a factor.

You can safely go below this figure, depending on how much boost/power you are running, and of course what pistons you have, you can even get thicker gaskets to raise it(head) up again if needed.
