Anybody know ANYthing about this??
I am sure my automatic transmision is broken, or maybe just the differential, but that I will look into more carefull.
But my thought was, WHEN this automatic trans. would stop working properly, I would convert it to manuel trans. instead of a rebuild. If I should end up doing it, I would make the transplant from another complete car.
Anyone know, maybe in details what I should think about?

You will also need the ECU from the manual along with the engine wiring loom, as no trans signal on a auto trans ecu will default it.
They are normally quite good auto boxes, the main fault is the clutch basket breaks the fingers off the outer edges, but you can get billet alloy replacements now, plus the pressure diaphragm splits sometimes, both easy though.

maybe to much hassle.It was actually the autobox that scared me as autobox repair sound expensive
... is it a DIY job, or should I have a pro do it???
This box is not a easy DIY at all, but not that expensive as auto's go.
The secret to long life with these boxes is OIL COOLER, take off the output pipe from the gearbox(highest one) and put between it and the main rad a additional oil cooler.
The ones I use are for WINNEBAGO MOTORHOMES, about 3/4's the size of the main rad, they do work well, always had auto's and always put on these coolers.
My old sierra auto(A4LD) was modded with a shift kit, and used to cook my left foot, seriously it was very painful on a long journey, after fitment of the cooler the box was just warm instead of scalding and impossible to touch.
You can get shift kits for the mondy boxes, so they trick the ecu into a far more sporty mode, around Ł60-Ł80.
Just use a cooler, change oil every year with fully synthetic, and it will outlast the car.
My last sierra did over 230,000 miles on a rebuilt A4LD with cooler, at 180bhp, and was driven hard.

Sound interesting. But I am VERY sure that it is fitted with a trans.oilcooler standard, so far so good. About shiftkit.. my box already have eco and sportselection, but I always drive eco.
Found out about some more since my last message. It might not be the box that is bad (I was afraid of something like diff problems), but more likely wheel wheels adjustment or something like wishbones, because it pulls alot to the right when accelerating and letting go of the throttle it goes to the left, but I can find anything loose or broken when I wrigle with them with a crowbar (everything is by the way NEW.. bushes wishbones bearinges etc)
Could a enginemount effect this when accelerating and decelerating?
When driving straight ahead or turning at normal driving you feel nothing.
