hello im having problems with my erst.

I want to drive it and get it set up but i really dont want to drive it as it is!

the car is a 1.8zvh. the car was running lovely before but then broke an engine mount and ripped off a hose. by the time i stopped etc it had gotten very hot and blown the headgasket although still ran fine just got too hot.

ive now replaced the headgasket etc and fitted it with a stage3 head and kent cam.

now the car has 2 problems:

1) it doesnt like starting takes a long time to get it going.
2) its completely powerless, i took it round the road a few times and it doesnt go anywhere completely flat, didnt even register any boost.

i guess these are timing related as i havnt really done nething else with the car i can think of that would do this. have you any ideas to help?

i have the same problem with the starting , it takes a long time to fire.... look forward to suggestions.

 

get a mobile mechanic to come out and set up the timing and check and just the fuelling if needed then take it to a rolling road for a proper tune up
