The standard volt gauge on my 1994 Escort Cosworth has stoped working, i have checked at the guage & there is no power to it. All other gauges are working fine & as far as i can see no fuses have gone. Has anyone got a wiring diagram for the instrument panel or does anyone know where the volt gauge takes its power from or even which fuse protects it.

Thanks for that should be a big help i'll see what i can find tomorrow. Just out of intrest where did you get the diagram from as all the ones i've found have been nowhere near as good especially for the Escort.

get yourself a "ford TIS disc" they are all on there, some on ebay, make sure you get the right year though. There was a link to it for free somewhere?? Anyone know it??

Well you live & learn, i've already got TIS on my computer & i always thought the wiring diagrams were crap but i didn't realise you could keep going down the page for more diagrams

The voltmeter has its own dedicated fuse listed in the handbook. It's probably just that thats blown...
