Hi, i have a 4 wheel drive 1992 saph that is running a standard t3 on stage 1 chip, standard injectors etc etc my question is (prob really thick i know) the turbo is on its way out (turbines all battered she sucked something up?) anyway the prob i have is this....the manifold on the turbo has a lambda sensor....what are my options?? I have not seen another like it anywhere???? can i bolt a t3 on to this manifold? can i buy another turbo ie t34 etc sorry if this is thick new to cossies!
Does my car need this lambda ? i guess it does , Please help a noob out

Does the car need a lambda sensor? Yes, unless you have the management changed to NO lambda. Don't know if it will pass MOT then.
Can you bolt on a T34? Yes, BUT ONLY if your management chip is updated.

Anything is possible, but it may costs a lot of money.

 

you just need a t3 turbo from a green top cossy as all have the lambda sensor in the turbo manifold.
Or as above you could use a t34 turbo but need to upgrade your chip and also you would need to drill your exhaust down pipe and fit lambda sensor there, you can buy a nut to weld into pipe.

 

Just get it overhauled, the TURBOCENTRE is very good and who I use.
