a friend of mine has a 2wd saff that is completely standard and has not been used for a while.
the problem is that it has a missfire after about 200 rpm. it seems to idle ok but then miss on one cylinder after a few thousand revs.

it seems to me like an injector down and not fueling enough but could it me something more serious like maybe a bent valve.
it doesnt smoke one bit either.

Normaly when you have a cent valve the engine will miss fire when at idle and when reved it will feel as if the missfire has gone away. Try the simple things like spark plugs mate.

 

Spark plugs,leads,cap rotor arm etc .
