Default will start , wont start

Ive just re done the head on my 87 cossie had a small problem with knocking in the head but it has calmed down , Thanks for all your replies . Now its having problems starting , turn on ignition and the engine management light does not go out , its not getting either fuel or spark then its might start a few hours later . Is it the ignition module, map sencor or the ECU. Any advice on this ,

Regards

Dave.

Phase sensor will not stop spark but CRANK POSITION SENSOR will.
Do the wiggles test on the connection/loom.

Both the signal from the distributor and the RPM / TDC-sensor enable the module to identify the phase of each cylinder. This information forms the basis on which the ECU module decides on spark timing and fuel injection
