Is there anyway to turn the engine management light off on a 2003 2.0 Mondeo without using a dianostic machine?

When i started it up in the heavy frost all the electrics went off but the engine kept running and when all the electrics came back on the EML light came on and has been on ever since.

no you carnt if it is on then there is a problem with the car and the code needs to be read so take it to a garge
