Hi i have a problem with my mk6 fiesta and someone told me to post on here so here is my post from UKFN.

Since getting the EAC fail message on the first morning and the car refusing to start whatsoever, that evening changed the coilpack and the car starts and idles but sounds rough as jade goody but no EAC Fail message (been a week now). Today i changed the spark plugs (i got them from my local motor factors and for some reason they are like 3mm longer but i don't think that is an issue) anyway now the car starts without using the gas pedal and idles steady for a bit around 1200rpm then wobbles between about 800 and 1200 rpm but sounds like it did when the coil pack went. The only thing left to change is the leads as i don't think i'm technically minded enough to do any TB work but if that don't work i don't know if i can afford to take the car to fords and have them do whatever they do and charge me an arm and a leg!! I don't want to loose the fez and i don't want to sell it in the condition its in!! Damn cars damn xmas.

 

changle the leads always getting problems with plugs leads and coil pack on em!
