Default power steering

hi, ive been looking at buying an xr2 engine to fit into my 1.3 fiesta.
but what i was wondering is wether or not i will be able to keep the power steering or will i lose that feature?
It might be a really easy question to answer, but i just thought i had best ask!
thanks a lot..

The problem if any would be the pump, ie if no CVH(xr2) ever had a pump mounted on it, you would need to adapt one to fit then sort out belt etc, but I am fairly sure cvh could be had with power steering so should be easy enough to find the bits, just with a bit of searching around.

Early Mk5 Escorts came with CVHs and power steering - you could rob the bits off that

Oh yea, and with regards to your current engine, its an HCS i assume? That means that only the Steering rack could be kept as the pipes and all the rest mentioned above are routed totally differently, and the pump and bracket are obviously in a different place and fitting on a CVH
