Default Ford Key Fob Help Needed Plz!

Basically, i've got this key fob but am not sure what the buttons do believe it or not!:

I know the car has an immobiliser and remote locking but it apparently has an alarm as well after i set it off at Tesco!

The batteries need changing cause it seems a bit tempremental but can someone tell me what each button and combination does?? It looks as though u can lock it with or without the alarm but I dont know for sure what buttons i should be pressing.

Is for a 99 Escort Gti by the way (and i've only had it 24hrs for anyone thinking im some sort of flid)

Any help appreciated.

Cheers!

Is a bit of a bloody pain not knowing which buttons to press.
Just park the car at the moment and stand there messing about for a minute or two with the fob trying to get it to do what i want

I would have thought the one with one arrow is unlocks and the one with two is lock and deadlock ie press the two arrowed button twice when locking to lock and then deadlock
