got a very strange problem that is really getting to me. got 2.1 with pectel management,if that helps. car starts up fine can be driving down the road and it will just cut out, no battery light or anything, will literally just die, then after a few minutes flip the ignition back on and its ok to go again. wont get fair before it dies again though. anyone had a similar problem or any ideas??cheers for any advice.

 

sounds very wrong. could it be a fuelling problem, dosent have to be to do with battery. mabye a pump isnt working somewhere, or works for a few seconds then dies.

 

thnks for that mate. surely if it wasnt battery related id stil have the battery light on the dash when it cuts out???theres no lights at all??cheers

 

its quite common for people to assume its the battery first time, i do it myself, and we all blame battery as they all die or run out of power at some point. but people seem to overrule that it could be fuel pumps or something, think of it, the fuel pump in the tank dosent have a super fine filter in it. and eventually gets clooged up with sh*t and dirt particles, also fuel can make its own gunk over time, and it will all work together and after a while the pumps can take no more and simply need replacing.
