No Spark
Hi guys, I've got a big turbo cossie engine in my Capri, has been running fine recently, but i came on boost tonight and as i went to change gear everything died, i got towed home and checked for spark 1st of all, its got spark at the king lead, but the cylinder leads arnt sparking. Im thinking it could be the distributer cap, rotor arm or phase sensor thing, but untill i can check tommorow. I've had a quick search of the forum but havn't found anything like this. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If the coil is sparking then you know it can't be anything other than the dizzy area, maybe pin has bust inside the dizzy cap, it won't be phase sensor as this does not determine spark but injection of fuel.
WEird one but I would also look first inside dizzy at cap/arm.
The purpose of the phase sensor is to tell the ecu when to inject, as it is NOT batch fired.

Just took the cap off, and looked inside, the carbon tip had snapped off, i actually saw it inside the distributor first. Hopefully it will be easily solved with a new cap then. Cheers

EDIT: They say bad luck comes in 3's, replaced the distributor cap, didnt start, replaced rotor arm, and started with a misfire, pulled each plug and cylinder 2 didn't make a difference. Traced the lead back and it was broke at dizzie end. Going to replace the leads now. Thanks for the input Tab.
