Default Help fitting a FATT, need the speed wire !

Hello people i have just purchased a greddy turbo timer, i have installed it no probs for the actual turbo timer but need to connect the other wire to the speed wire in the ecu.
This will then enable me to record 0 to 60s etc does any one know which wire i need to cut, the turbo timer manual just says the speed wire which i presume is some where in the ecu any ideas ? thanks

There are two cables going out with speedo cable - they probably go to ECu and have speed signal. But I am not sure about it.

which car lee? not all ford have an electronic speed sensor as the speedo is mostly cable driven. even if it does, it is probbaly just a pulsed signal from the sensor to the ecu which may or may not be compatible with your turbo timer.

what a rwd sierra on a g-plate? in that case, there is definitely no electronic speed signal on the engine ecu. the abs ecu must calculate speed from the abs sensors, but i don't know if you can access it, or what form it is in

i got mine from ford (german dealer), came in a couple of days. last i heard, the warehouse in cologne had some still.

if you've got 4 pots on the front, you'll need 5mm spacers as well (just on the front) so that the inside face of the spokes clears the caliper.
