Default Door Card Removal

I know this probably doesn't deserve to be in the technocal section but hey ho can you advise me on this. My rear windey window doesn't work on my mk5 escort (not my xr3i) so today i thought i would try woop off the door card to inspect it. Sadly, after unscrewing all the errr well screws!,,, the door card will still not come off. It seems all that is holding it on is the window winder itself which appears to be stuck fast. It doesn't rotate what-so-ever and i'm unsure of how to remove it! HELP!

P.S. The winder itself is all one moulded piece of plastic so i cant seem to pop off any cap cover to unbolt it etc

hi there is a clip behind the winder and make sure that you have took all the screws from the ends of the door card and then once the winder is off you just pull the the door card off as it will be only helled on by the the pastick clips behind the card its a easy job mate but if water has got behind the winder in the door the rust will swell in the winder an then its a sanner job behind the winder...................hope that helps

Theres a little spring clip behind the winder if you go to a local motor factors tell them what your doing and they will give you a special tool to do it and tell you how to use it hope that helps mate.
