help my escort smokes when it is up to temperature or when comes on boost does any one have ant ideas

 

Could be one of the following, turbo oil seals, valve stem seals, blocked turbo oil return pipe, or engines wear?

Dose it smoke when you first start it? How many miles has it done?

it has done 95k not sure about turbo but valve stems done in 02, the engine un sure about but runs sweet as a nut

 

does in blow smoke when under load or when you back off and are on overun?

if its under load probably guna be your turbo
if it does it when you lift of then its guna be valve guides or stem seals.

 

cheers its when your on full throttle and when its hot

 

mmmm im afraid that if it does it when your foot is hard down that sudgests that your turbo is blowing oil im afraid mate

this is of course presuming the smoke is a blue colour?
if its black smoke then its overfueling which would probably mean a faulty engine sensor.
