Default Anyone with early ford without wing repeaters!

Hi peeps.

Doing a bit of a resto on a mates S1.

we have got rid of the wing repeaters in order to clean up the inner wing,

Now the indicators are flashing a bit too quickly.

Does anybody know the part number or type of flasher relay I could use to slow them down?

Thanks,
Gareth.

If you get a universal "camping", type relay these are elctronic so speed will be correct.

Depends on the vehicles date of first use. This car is early enough to not need them.

NO UNIVERSAL FLASHER RELAY, often reffered to as camping/trailer relay.
As it is ELECTRONIC(make sure it is) it keeps the same flash rate irrespective of load, ie whether you have two extra lights(trailer) or not on the car.
Bosch/Hella do them, you can get them from loads of places, look in yellow pages under car electrics, the sort you need is ELECTRONIC the sort YOU HAVE at the moment is ELECTRO MECHANICAL.

Thanks Tabetha. Star man.

Should have posted earlier however.
Went to look at the car and ended up just being a poor earth on both side rear clusters.

Should have known really.

Cheers.
