Anyone with early ford without wing repeaters!
Hi peeps.
Doing a bit of a resto on a mates S1.
we have got rid of the wing repeaters in order to clean up the inner wing,
Now the indicators are flashing a bit too quickly.
Does anybody know the part number or type of flasher relay I could use to slow them down?
Thanks,
Gareth.

Do you mean like a split charger relay?
Sorry
NO UNIVERSAL FLASHER RELAY, often reffered to as camping/trailer relay.
As it is ELECTRONIC(make sure it is) it keeps the same flash rate irrespective of load, ie whether you have two extra lights(trailer) or not on the car.
Bosch/Hella do them, you can get them from loads of places, look in yellow pages under car electrics, the sort you need is ELECTRONIC the sort YOU HAVE at the moment is ELECTRO MECHANICAL.

ps if you have probs getting one get back to me.
