Hi
I have a 2003 1.4 Tdci fiesta, and it recently broke down on the motorway. There was smoke coming out from the right hand side under the bonnet, the AA man said it was the injector seal and would cost about £300.
Knowing nothing about cars I wondered if anybody could help in explaining what would be involved in fixing it and if this price was roughly accurate. I've booked it in to the garage just need a bit more knowledge before I go.
Thanks

No £300 is taking the P**S.
You would be btter off going to a diesel specialist, ie COMMERCIAL PLACE than fords.
Depends where the seal is as there are loads, no good the guy just saying injector seal, doesn't mean a thing really, there is a copper washer under the injector(each) but these are a few pence only, 20 p max.
