Hi there people how easy is it 2 change the clutch on a 1.1 Lreg fiesta. can u change it without takin the driveshafts out like u can with the mk5 escorts n swing the gearbox down on the driveshafts 2 get at the clutch. Do u have 2 do anything 2 the clutch pedal cause they have a self adjusting ratchet system on the pedal.

 

you probably can but space is very tight so i've always removed the whole box!

when i've done them i've removeed all the subframe bolts as it's easier to pop the shafts out this way and gives you a bit more room to swing the box out.

clutch pedel, err, lifting the clutch pedel should reset the self adjuster.
