Default Battery light

Just done a turbo conversion and all starts up fine straight away but battery light is on and when its revved it gets brighter, alternator is fine and car will run fine, am i right in thinking it may be a lose/ disconnected earth somewhere, any input much appreciated, thanks

did you connect the blue wire form the alternater back up

Have you checked continuity from the B+ terminal on the alternator to the positive battery terminal?

The easy way to do this is to just turn the engine OFF, then put a test light or metre on the large terminal on the alternator terminal that carries the main load.
If it lights you have continuity as battery power will have had to travel down the wire to light the test light, work the metre.
This will be ok(continuity), you are looking at a buggered alternator I'm afraid.

You've connected the blue wire to the wrong place by the sound of it.

Its earthing out thats why the bulb is staying on
