my batteries gone flat and because its de locked i cant get in! i want to get some jump leads from my other car onto the alternator or starte motor of the flat car. but i dont know which conections i need to be putting the leas onto?

help please!

lol if you lay on the floor you can just get your hand up to the cach to open the bonit if you can just put the earth some when on the alternater and then the live to the thik one on the starter but dont tuch any thing els with it

jack the car up and put the red lead to the terminal on the starter with the nut on the black lead to earth job done!(booster pack or jump leads)

 

right just had a look. ive pu the earth on the alternator. but the thick earth wire that connects to the starter shares the same connection thread/bolt as a wire going to the alternator? is this ok? dont wnna short my car!

 

all done! disconnected the the wire going from the starter to alt just to be safe.

now i just gotta find out what drained the battery

hello mate i got a the kit to get in i do it all the time at work on merc' s self lockers im only in horley

 

cheers for the offer mate but i got it done now. all started up and the cars back in my garage now

The last one I did that had delocked doors I got the boot open with key and took out the boot light, connected my power pack to that for about 15 minutes by which time it had enough to open the locks.
Obviously if you have delocked the doors as well this is no good, mind on hatches you could just crawl through to the inside!!
