Default knackered injector

well got my immobiliser probs sorted on my mk6 escort (1,8) but turns out the engines only firing on 3 cylinders. im thinking its the injector thats knackered - when i unplug it there no difference in the running of the car.

how do i go about sorting it? is it just a matter of changing the injector or another way? if so would the 1.6 injectors do it?

See if the plug is WET.
NO spark will also cause this but still be fuelling.
It would be ok to use temporarily a 1.6 injector to see if it that though.
I don't know the flow rates so would not like to say it is the same injector, as I don't know, but will do no harm idling to try it out.

why dont you change the injector with one of the others to eliminate it also as the problem?
