Hi guys,

Just to add a few more details (and to bring everything into one thread - Mod can you please delete the other thread)

the passanger footwell in our KA is filling up with water everytime it rains.
the carpet did get a little damp over the winter/spring but it wasn't that bad and with the few dry weeks we have had lately it had completly dryed up.

due to the heavy rainfall we have had recently the foot is now saturated to the point where you can see the standing water on the carpet.

has anyone ever experienced this before or got an idea of where it can be coming from?

Just to give you some more info on this.

a few people on here have suggested the heater matrix.

now the coolant level is still spot on so the matrix isn't leaking coolant but colud it still be coming in from there?

i had the pollen filter out thelast time it got slightly wet and that was dry and a bone so i am pretty confdent its not getting in from there although i will check again

has the car got air con becaused the drain pipe runs under the centre console and if blocked could overfill and leak into the foot well

but would try the pollen filter again as this is normaly the problem

its the rubber grommit under the coolant tank, water collects there and drips into the footwell, make sure its to got a hole in it, i had one in mine from a amp wire that made it leak, so i siloconed around it and its all sorted now!
