no im not sure just been over and had a look at that flap your on about it has a pool of water at the bottom of it, from the rain coming through the vents like 1cm deep,i have taken the pipe of the fuel filter and turned the key fuel is coming out

this is a nightmare got the water out but now the battery is flat do you think this wa the problem

okay i am sorry for this yeah just cleaned all metering unit inside everytime i press the flat down petrol goes into the bottom of the flap and forms a pool

theres one problem then new metering head required, or a service kit.

well you're losing fuel pressure because of that so its more than likely why it wont fire, the injectors are pressure operated.

Either way, it shoudn't be like that.

I expect that was fuel in the bottom though and not water like you thought

cool thanks there is sum1 up here that breaks rs turbos so gonna take a nip through tonight and see if he has a metering unit will let u know if i get it runing

okay went 2 see that guy the day and he dosnt have 1 is there any way i can fix my unit?(or is it 2 hard)if not then do you know where i can buy a second hand 1

you can fix them yea, the seals inside go.

Apparently Stu @ MSD off here sells them, speak to him hes a good bloke

i've not done it myself but from what i've seen its pretty easy.

I think its an O ring inside that perishes, should be easy enough.

Stu will be able to tell you more specifically tho, give him a call and tell him i pointed you in his direction
